One of the important missions of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons is
to disseminate Endocrine Surgery education throughout the world.
In addition to the direct efforts of the IAES through the semiannual meetings, World
Journal of Surgery publications and other work, the IAES can partner with other groups
to support endocrine surgery education. To the extent that IAES financial resources
allow, the Council can authorize support of educational meetings through travel support
for attendees, travel support for IAES speakers or seed funding for planned meetings.
The application, which can be downloaded below, is deliberately simple. Any additional detail about the meeting
in the accompanying letter and program will be helpful in assessing the application.
Requests will be judged based upon the extent to which the proposed activity contributes
to the missions of the IAES, the extent to which the activity is engaged with the IAES
through member participation in the planning or execution of the meeting, and the
availability of funds.
